How to Attract Clients as an Energy Healer and Intuitive Practitioner

I am very grateful and honoured to work with many healers in my coaching practice. Being clairsentient and highly sensitive to energies, I have always found it deeply fascinating to explore different energy healing modalities and experience the movement of energy in my own body during treatments. I have undertaken many energy healing treatments over the years and have a deep admiration for this type of work – and I often find myself becoming a client to my clients, lol. As a business coach and mentor, over the years of mentoring and supporting healers, I have noticed several recurring challenges that many healers and intuitive practioners face when it comes to communicating and marketing their work.

One of them is that fitting the sacred service of healing into standard copywriting formulas and “messaging frameworks” often does not work particularly well. It is much easier to put into words the benefits, process, methodology, and expected outcomes of fitness coaching, wellness coaching, career coaching, business coaching, or even many forms of life coaching than it is to describe an energy healing modality.

When we are talking about energy healing, we are working with the element of Etherthe invisible, intangible – and this can make it much more difficult to translate what you do into conventional marketing language and messaging frameworks.

Some energy healing modalities, such as Reiki, are more widely known, which makes the process of explaining and communicating them somewhat easier. But many other forms of energy healing are not yet familiar to the mainstream audience—such as channeled Light Language, or Ka Lightbody Activation.

Energy healing can be difficult to describe verbally or “market” because it needs to be experienced. And for this reason, the marketing channels that allow potential clients to actually experience something of your work and your energy can be some of the most powerful forms of marketing available to you.

This could be a live or recorded free energy healing session, an energetic transmission, a meditation, a guided practice, a group healing experience, or another way of allowing people to experience your work before they decide whether they would like to work with you more deeply.

Energy healing is also experienced very subjectively. Depending on a person’s sensitivity, perception, expectations, and individual experience, the same healing session can be experienced in very different ways. Someone may notice energetic sensations in the body, visions, warmth, chills, emotions, physical sensations, memories, or simply a sense of relaxation or inner shift.

This is why sharing genuine client testimonials and creating opportunities for people to experience your work can be particularly helpful in marketing an energy healing offer. When people can experience what you do rather than simply read a description of it, the experience itself can become part of your marketing.

Intuitive Marketing

When your work requires deep presence, intuitive work, energetic sensitivity and healing, channeling –  constantly creating more content on top of that can become overwhelming. For many healers, particularly those who are introverted, sensitive, intuitive, or energetically perceptive – constant content churning can feel like running on a hamster wheel.

For those of us who work from embodied and lived experience, our best content often does not come from a content template. It comes from what we are actually experiencing, learning, understanding, receiving, and creating intuitively.

It can be a life lesson you have learned through years of personal experience, a spiritual revelation, a channeled message, an energetic transmission, a transformational insight, a mystical experience, something you are currently observing in your clients, an intuitive message, a healing practice, a meditation, a spiritual teaching, a story from your own journey, or a deeper perspective on a subject you have been studying for years.

If your work is highly intuitive, your strongest message and most resonant piece of content may not arrive on Tuesday because Tuesday happens to be your “educational content day” in your content calendar, or because a content template or messaging framework told you that this is what you should post.

It may arrive while you are channeling, meditating, conducting a client session, having a mystical experience, in a dream, while undergoing your own emotional healing journey, as an intuitive download, while tuning into the collective energy, conducting an energy healing session, or experiencing something new in your own life.

And if you are someone who feels the magnitude of your mission and genuinely wants to make a positive change in the world, the advice to never give any valuable content for free – may not feel right to you.

Of course, consistency is important, but there is a difference between consistency and constant output. You can be consistent in serving your audience and marketing your healing offers without being constantly visible or online. You can publish one in-depth blog post, channeled energy healing session or light lanaguage transmission, instead of ten pieces of content that you created simply because you felt pressured to post in order to be “consistent.”

You can write an email newsletter when you genuinely have something meaningful to share.

You can build a library of blog posts, Substack posts, YouTube videos, or podcast episodes that continue to attract people months and years after they were published.

You can create an evergreen body of work—books, guides, meditations, courses, healing practices, and other resources—that continue to serve your audience and market your offers without requiring you to be online every day.

You can use social media and sales automation tools to share valuable content consistently – without needing to be constantly online, posting, and creating something new every single day.

Besides the overwhelm of constant content creation as preached by most marketers online, another challenge that many healers encounter is finding a business coach and mentor that actually understands their work.

Most business coaches come from corporate backgrounds—careers in sales, marketing, or other mainstream business niches—and they may understand sales, marketing, positioning, copywriting, business scaling, and business strategy very well. From a marketing perspective, the sales and messaging frameworks they teach may be brilliant. And they may work extremely well for business coaching, career coaching, fitness coaching, social media and branding, consulting, and other mainstream coaching and business niches.

The challenge is that it can be much more difficult to “fit” spiritual, intuitive, psychic, occult, and energy-healing services into those same messaging frameworks because this type of work is very different and, in many ways, much more ethereal.

One of the things I hear very often from my clients is that, before working with me, they could not find a coach who actually understood what they do and the nature of their work—or who took the time to genuinely understand their offers and services.

It is difficult for me to imagine how I could help someone with messaging, copywriting, positioning, selling, offer creation, or business systems if I had no understanding of what they were actually selling. But, the sad reality is that many healers end up working with business coaches who themselves are not particularly intuitive or spiritually oriented, may never have experienced energy healing, had a mystical experience, worked with psychic or channeled information, or experienced the kind of work they are being asked to help with selling and promoting.

And when this happens, the business coach may propose the sales and messaging framework that works for them and most of their other clients. You are then encouraged to change your messaging, your content, your offer, your positioning, and sometimes even your way of expressing yourself – in order to fit a particular framework, content creation template, or conventional marketing strategy.

You may be told to “be more relatable,” simplify your language, remove the more mystical aspects of your work, or communicate your healing practice in a way that resembles a conventional coaching offer, stating the clear benefits…

At times, this can be useful, as clear communication is important in selling anf marketing process. But when taken too rigidly, it can dilute the intuitive nature of your offers, your channeled messages, your unique creative expression, and your authentic brand voice.

On the other hand, these experiences, together with natural energetic resonance, can lead healers to seek out spiritually oriented business coaches who teach energetic alignment, intuitive business decision-making, feminine magnetism strategies, client manifestation, prosperity rituals, money energy healing, visibility-block healing, and similar approaches.

I have signed up for many of these myself, lol, but over the years, I have also realised that spiritual alignment, energetic work, and manifestation practices are helpful, while practical business systems are equally important if you want to build a business that can support you consistently.

Because what happens when you are not “in the vibe”? What happens when you are physically or energetically exhausted? When you are going through a major life transition? When you need to take time away from your business? When you are deeply immersed in your own healing journey? Or when you simply need to rest?

As much as there is energetic potency and genuine value in intuitive content creation, following your creative urges, and sharing what is moving through you in the moment, a business that brings consistent income also requires consistency, selling, and systems.

What I have realised through building my own coaching business and spiritual magazine and working with clients over the years is that having good systems is one of the things that makes it possible to run a business in an intuitive, slow, and sustainable way.

Systems do not have to take away the spiritual and intuitive essence of your work. On the contrary, the right systems can create more spaciousness for you to work intuitively, serve your clients, and create your best body of work because they take many repetitive tasks away from your to-do list.

I believe systems are essential for intuitive and spiritual business owners. If your time is vastly consumed by client delivery, marketing, social media, administration, and selling, there is very little space left for the practices that nourish your work—and for actually doing the work you are here to do.

Working with clients.

Facilitating healing.

Writing books.

Teaching.

Channeling.

Creating transformational offers.

Deepening your intuitive and spiritual practice.

Hosting retreats and ceremonies.

Not to mention how much stress around inconsistent income, worrying about paying the bills, or having to take work that drains you because your business is not generating enough consistent income can take away from your emotional wellbeing, quality of life, spiritual practice, and capacity to do the work you are passionate about.

To be able to do that with our full presence and capacity, we need business structures and systems that support us while we are not working.

We need income streams that are not entirely dependent on how many hours we personally work.

And we need marketing that communicates the value of what we do without forcing sacred and intuitive work into ‘frameworks’.

If this resonates with you, and you are looking for a business coach who understands both sides of building a spiritual and intuitive business—the depth, sensitivity, and uniqueness of your work, as well as the practical strategy, marketing, selling, and systems needed to create a sustainable business—I would love to invite you to explore working with me—click here to read more about my spiritual business coaching and mentorship services.
