I was first introduced to the concept of money mindset in 2017, when I signed up for a business coaching program. As a life coach, I already knew that every change begins with a shift in mindset, and I realised that if I wanted to grow my income, I needed more than a solid practical strategy — I also needed to transform my beliefs around money. Once I began working on my money mindset, I uncovered many limiting beliefs (which I believe were partly shaped by growing up during and after the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, when scarcity was everywhere). Since then, I’ve been committed to this inner work and have witnessed profound shifts in both my relationship with money and the level of income I attract.
As part of my journey to create an empowering money mindset and expand my financial literacy, I made a commitment to myself to read 100 books about money. In this post, I reflect on how reading these 100 books transformed my money mindset, helped me increase my income, and ultimately improved the quality of my life.
Note: For this list, I selected books that cover both the financial and business aspects of money, as well as those focused on money mindset and the metaphysics of wealth — giving me a broader perspective that blends my love of the practical with the metaphysical. Some of the titles that inspired me most I both read in print and listened to on Audible.

BOOKS ABOUT WEALTH AND MONEY THAT IMPACTED ME THE MOST (PLUS MY TOP RECOMMENDATIONS)
Although I learned something from every single book on my list, the ones mentioned below had the greatest impact — either by creating a significant mindset shift around money or by inspiring me to take massive, transformative action.
After reading Bob Proctor’s You Were Born Rich and Robert Kiyosaki’s books (especially Rich Dad, Poor Dad), I was reminded of the importance of building passive income streams that generate real cash flow. This inspired me to create multiple passive income sources — including book royalties, online courses, and digital products — which now allow me to earn money while sleeping, traveling, or even watching Netflix. This shift has been a true pivotal one in my life and in my online coaching business.
Prior to 2017, I was earning solely from one-on-one coaching. Even though I was making significantly more than I had as a freelance writer and working with many wonderful clients, there was always an underlying fear and uncertainty: “What if no client signs up next month?” In 2017, I began giving motivational talks and live workshops, which helped diversify my income and ease some of that uncertainty — but it still meant trading time for money. This approach worked well for almost three years, until 2020, when the global health and economic turmoil hit. Suddenly, client numbers plummeted, and the motivational talks and live workshops I had planned were cancelled.
It was thanks to the passive income streams I had created that year — online courses, which were growing in demand, and digital books — that I was not only able to continue earning during that time, but also witnessed something unexpected: my income actually started increasing! This experience confirmed what I had learned from many of the books on my list — having multiple income streams, especially passive ones, is essential to weather financial storms and scale income sustainably.
Joe Vitale is one of my favorite authors — I’ve read over 30 of his books over the years. His insights on attracting money have deeply influenced me, inspiring me to publish my book Self Worth, reflect on my own beliefs about money, and generate more creative ideas for building diverse income streams.
“You don’t need [always] more money [to make more money], you need more creativity!” — Joe Vitale
Dan Lok’s ‘F.U. Money’ and T. Harv Eker’s ‘Secrets of the Millionaire Mind’ motivated me to take a hard look at how I was spending my time. I started delegating, automating, and outsourcing more, and this shift allowed me to focus more time towards “money-generating activities,”.
Some of the most inspiring books on this list were ‘The Soul Of Money’, ‘Maro Up’, ‘Karmic Marketing’, ‘The Awakened Millionaire’, ‘The Law of Divine Compensation’, ‘Homeless To Billionaire’, and ‘Happy Money’.
‘The Millionaire Next Door’ book series by Thomas J. Stanley were very eye-opening when it comes to learning about the spending habits, mindset, and behavioural traits of hundreds of millionaires surveyed by the author in his extensive scientific research.

Note: Many of the books I’ve read offer completely different — and sometimes even opposing — financial advice and investment strategies. Over the years, through working with clients across continents, cultures, belief systems, personality types, and values, I’ve learned that there is no true “one-size-fits-all” approach to money. The same principles simply don’t work for everyone.
Reading 100 books on money gave me much greater clarity about which financial and investment strategies genuinely resonate with me.
Although I still have much to learn—especially when it comes to investing (making my money to “work for me”) — I can confidently say that the time, energy, and resources I invested in reading those 100 books about money has been invaluable.
