Our collaboration spans thirteen years, and for more than a decade, Vanja has also been my mentor. Since 2017, we have worked closely together, beginning with our first motivational speech in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. What I treasure most is not only what we have built together, but the depth of our connection, friendship, and shared mission – about creating something that will outlive us.

Over the years, we have intentionally built our coaching practice and online business around the lifestyle we wanted to live.

A business that allows us to travel.

A business that earns while we are resting.

A business that supports a slow-living lifestyle.

A business rooted in devotion to our purpose.

A business that honours our Human Design – Manifestor nature.

After investing (a lot) in many mentorships and business coaching programs over the years, today – I am far less interested in how much money someone claims to make each month. I no longer choose mentors because of flashy revenue screenshots or marketing ‘hype’.

I am interested in the life they have created. Their integrity. Their wisdom. Their values. The depth of their teachings. The way they treat people behind the scenes.

I also no longer enjoy programs where there is no genuine connection with the mentor, where depth of wisdom is replaced by AI-generated content, and where the teachings are simply (and only) recycled frameworks, templates, and methodologies passed down from the mentors they themselves studied under.

I prefer a heartfelt written word, channeled content, intuitive insights, artistic and creative expression, genuine poetry, lived wisdom, depth, embodiment, and practical guidance.

I am no longer interested in building a business that requires ‘hype’ marketing, constant presence online, hyper-creation of content, running exhausting live launches, content ‘templates’ and ‘frameworks’…

I would rather spend my time and energy writing a book that someone will read ten years from now. Publishing magazines. Writing articles that continue transforming lives years after they are written. Creating online programs that become part of a lasting body of work.

I have become far more interested in building a legacy than producing an endless stream of short-lived content.

For me, slow business is about building smarter systems that continue serving people while I am traveling, recovering, reading, spending time with family, walking through vintage markets or beaches, exploring organic grocery stores, or simply enjoying an afternoon doing absolutely nothing.

Business success can certainly be measured by revenue. But it can also be measured by:

• The number of people we impact with our content, work, and wisdom.

• The depth of our clients’ transformations.

• The elevation of consciousness our work contributes to.

• The movements and communities we build around the cause we believe in.

• The courage, inspiration, and hope our words inspire.

• The books and body of work that we leave behind.

• The ideas and stories that continue living long after we share them.

• The quality of our life, wellness, and regulated nervous system.

• The creativity we have space to express.

• The joy we experience while doing our work and serving our clients.

May you create a business that nourishes you instead of depleting you. A business that allows you to become wealthier not only financially, but emotionally, spiritually, creatively, and relationally.
